This Dancers Workshop (Movie) will demonstrate how to pursue an idea, set a goal, and achieve it. It will illustrate a dream and set a method of accomplishing it. Dancers Workshop is based on a true story of one dancer (Hammam "John" Shafie), who wanted to choreograph 15 dancers in a production of the "Evolution Of Dance" in America to entertain the influx of visitors to Los Angeles during the 1984 Olympics. Instead of putting on a show in 1200 seat theater, Hammam ended up dancing and assisting in the production, choreography and direction of the XXIII Olympiad opening ceremonies that was watched by 2.5 billion people across the world. |
